This is the home of the pioneer of Organic and Mineral Hairdressing now famous the world over. It all started here in Barnet and it continues to this day with Daniel Field himself in attendance three days a week.

About Us Daniel Field pioneered the concept of Organic and Mineral Hairdressing. His now global salon philosophy is based entirely on CARE. Care for your hair with no harsh chemicals and groundbreaking treatments for colouring, caring and repairing hair damage. Care for your health with purity and chemical sensitivity issues top of our agenda. Care for animals where both vegan and cruelty free are the only products used. The team of experts at Daniel Field are renowned and that is why the salon in Barnet is open and busy seven days a week with three late nights. New clients are both recommended from present day clients yet many are referred from within the medical professions and the hairdressing industry itself. The highly experience self employed hairdressers are each skilled in all aspects of hairdressing including colouring, styling and cutting. There are many to choose from. All stylists continue to update their skills continuously. You can rest assured that only hairdressers trained by Daniel Field himself in Organic and Mineral hair colouring, hair care, products and his methods are given a license to practice here.

In House Colouring Team At Daniel Field there is an in-house hair colouring team called The Colour Club available for all colouring services at unbeatable rates. For example any Root Colour is just £32 inc vat. Please ask us for a quote for our highlighting services.

Appointments Because we only allow 7 stylists to work in the salon at any one time to avoid over-crowding, chances are you will find a hair stylist that suits you, your budget and your time frame. We open seven days a week with no less than three late nights on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Our reception manager is Anna Valle. Anna is a superb, loyal and trusted employee who has been with Daniel Field for many years. Please bear in mind that she and her team of assistant receptionists cannot recommend any one freelance hairdresser to you as this would be unfair. Each one is an all-round hairdresser, with a wide breath of skills and each has earned their place in this remarkable salon.

Caring For Animals and The Environment At all times we operate our salon as both a green and cruelty free business, one that places as little impact as possible on living things as well as the environment itself.
The salon is suitable for Vegans with not one product in our salon deriving from animals and those whom, like us, follow a cruelty free lifestyle. We review our environmental procedures on a regular basis whilst following a program of 'best practice'. We look at our business from many view points, use less, use again, last longer, biodegradable thus avoid using unnecessary or environmentally damaging substances, buying locally wherever possible saving fuel operating a paperless society as much as possible, using re-recycled paper and other products wherever possible.

Caring For Your Health Many people are aware that harsh chemicals can damage their hair particularly those used in hair colour. Some people are also concerned about their health and hair products are a source of issue for us and many others.
All our products are formulated by Daniel Field and his philosophy of care extends to your health in relation to every product he produces. Allergic sensitivity, highly sensitive scalp, eyes or lungs and concerns about cancer causing chemicals, ar Daniel Field you need have no such concerns. If you are particularly worried Daniel offers a personal consultation service at £30 per minutes by appointment only.
